Jacob Zipperstein 21104987 Two Institutions The medical school that I hope to attend in the future is the University of Washington. The prestigious U.W is located in Seattle, and is best known for its patient care aspects. Completing medical school at U.W would take four years, and the first year would run up to about $25,000. It is exceptionally difficult to get admitted into this school. Good MCATS scores as well as a good g.p.a is required in order to be able to apply. An interview is also necessary in order to be enrolled into U.W. I chose this institution because I enjoy the Seattle area. I could have gone to U.W for undergraduate school, but I felt that Berkeley would get me better prepared. I have an uncle who is the chief cardiologist at the University of Washington hospital, and he only tells me good things about this school. All types of research are currently underway at this institute. U.W is one of the leaders in stem-cell research. They are also known for their research on AIDS and pancreatic cancer. I have always enjoyed working in a lab and the idea of research, and I
