Masterpieces of Indian Art and Architecture Object Paper (Assignment 1) Due Date: Tuesday, February 23 Hard copy due in class Paper Guidelines 1. Write a  4-page paper  on an art object or artifact of your choice from the South  Asia collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.   2. The paper should be  doubled-spaced and in 12-point font .  Include a cover page  with your name, title of your paper, and an image of the object.  Note that the  paper length of 4 pages does not include the cover page.   3. This is not meant to be a research paper, but an essay in which you engage with  the material aspects of your chosen object in order to conduct and present a  visual  analysis  of that object.  Your essay should call attention to the formal properties  of the object, that is, how the object presents itself to the viewer.  So your essay  should discuss such issues as medium, materials, form, size, color, texture,  iconography, and style.  Although there are no hard and fast rules on how best to
