Changing the RHS of constraint 4 by Δ yields the following new basic variable values: c = 0.2 + 0.8Δ (Δ >= -1/4) i = 0.4 - 0.4Δ (Δ <= 1) b = 0.1 - 0.6Δ (Δ <= 1/6) h = 0.3 + 0.2Δ (Δ >= -3/2) --> -1/4 <= Δ <= 1/6 Now perform a check at http://people.hofstra.edu/Stefan_Waner/realworld/simplex.html Experimentation shows that the basis changes when the RHS is 1/3, which would amount to changing the RHS by 1/2 - 1/3 = 1/6. Increasing the RHS by 1/4 would make the RHS 3/4: Optimal Solution: z = 4.50 c = 0.00 i = 0.50
