Alternative Hypothesis 1 There is a positive relationship between hermit crab density and snail density. Alternative Hypothesis 2 There is a negative relationship between hermit crab density and snail density. 2. NULL Hypothesis : There is no relationship between sizes of snail shells and crab shells Alternative Hypothesis: There is a negative relationship between the sizes of hermit crab and snail shells Alternative Hypothesis: There is a positiverelationship between the sizes of hermit crab and snail shells 3. NULL Hypothesis: The hermit crabs are occupying shells in proportion to what is available. Alternative Hypothesis : Hermit crabs are being shell selective.
