Nutrition and exercise are an important aspect of a person’s daily life. In this presentation, I will  be discussing a personalized nutrition and exercise plan for a 32-year old female with several  health problems which could impair one’s ability to carry out certain physical activities. We will  also be discussing nutrition and exercise goals that compliment the individual’s needs. Since  there are certain health imparities, there are potential setback which can make the personalized  plan difficult to follow at times. In this presentation, we will also be discussing the health risks  that are involved if the individual does not take a personalized diet and exercise plan seriously.  Finally, we will be discussing the aspect of special circumstances. Special circumstances could  also change the ability to follow a diet and exercise plan.  The individual is a 32-year old female with several physical imparities. She suffers from  degenerated disk disease, tendonitis of the knee, obesity, limited mobility, shortness of breath,  and frequent fatigue. Each of these factors causes the female to move in a limited amount,  because of the pain that comes from overuse of certain parts of the body such as the back and  knees.  When setting goals for a personalized nutrition and exercise plan, there are several factors  which on should consider. One of the most important aspects to consider is consulting a  physician. During the physical, the individual should discuss with the doctor the anticipated  goals which she would like to reach. After receiving a full physical, the doctor can give  suggestions on a diet and exercises that will suit the individual.  One major factor that the  individual should consider is being realistic about the nutrition plan which is implemented.  Making too many changes all at once could cause the person to feel discouraged and deprieved  of certain foods. Another major point to remember when making a personalized nutrition and  exercise plan is not overdoing it. The individual should consider starting their exercise plan in  small increments and working their way to a more advanced level. Since each person is  different, the individual needs to understand that there are certain exercises that will be more  beneficial to the person. Another factor which has been proven to aid in weight loss is  documenting what the person eats, drinks, and the exercises that are completed.  Once a  person has a total understanding of what is needed to suit their personal goals, goals can be  set. For the 32-year old female mentioned previously, I would recommend a series of cardio

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
