The Pyramid Tracker had many options available for tracking and making suggestions on a person’s health and activity level. After monitoring my activity level over a period of 3 days I have determined that I need more exercise in my daily life. Over the 3 day period I had only burned 456 calories. My level of activity was very minimal. Since I am only a full-time student and a mother, I do not have the opportunity to get too much exercise outside of cleaning my house. I could make alterations to my daily activity level by taking frequent walks and using the exercise equipment that I have in my basement. I believe that taking a thirty minute walk 3 times daily would aid in heightening my level of activity. Another aspect that I would consider to be helpful would be that I use my exercise

Unformatted text preview: machine. I would be able to increase my muscle strength, along with getting a cardio workout since there is a resistance level changer. Even though the weather would seem to cause some people to slow down on their exercising, I could find ways of getting exercise such as parking further away from the store and walking. I have also used walking at the mall as in order to be able to get my exercise for the day. Another option would be to purchase a gym membership. The gym staff could give the appropriate suggestions needed for my body type and health concerns such as my back problems. Overall, there are several options available for year round activity.
