DISCUSSION Differences in measurements of the snow packs will differ between groups due to measurements of the cone piles of snow as well as the total area of the snow packs. In measuring the area of the cone snow pile, the measurements taken to calculate the area will differ from group to group due to the fact the way the packs were measured was perfectly precise and left room for user interpretation. Not everyone will have determined these cones to have the same radius and/or height. Also, there is user error involved in obtaining the snow for density readings, as not everyone will obtain the same exact snow or the same exact amount of snow. The discrepancies of measurements required to calculate the area of the cones combined with the variance in measuring the density will lead groups to have varied results for the total volume of water in the cone snow packs. While the density and depth were given for the larger zones, not everyone will have the same measurements of the area of these zones. This will create
