I encourage all of you to stop by my office during office hours or any other time you see my door open to discuss your academic interests and plans. My regularly- scheduled office hours are: Monday 10:00am – 11:00am Wednesday 10:00am – 11:00am If office hours are inconvenient, the best way to get in touch with me is by EMAIL; I check my EMAIL compulsively. The next best way is by phone, either at my office extension (which has voicemail) or by leaving a message for me at the department office. Course Description: This course is a study of child and adolescent psychopathology. A comprehensive approach, presenting information from both clinical practice and scientific research will be used to study the characteristics and the current treatments for each disorder. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the biological and genetic roots of psychopathology and the developmental, social and cultural contexts in which childhood disorders occur. Ψ
