Faihan Alqahtani LING 101 Bryan Carlo 4/28/09 Bable After viewing the movie entitled “Bable”, a lot of different viewpoints were brought to my attention. Some of these perspectives included those from different cultures and were very broad. Cultures incorporated were the Japanese culture, the Caucasian American culture, the Mexican culture, and, finally, the Moroccan Arab culture. The movie starts by introducing you to all the story lines involved in the movie. It depicts all the different personalities of the main characters in each culture. You first learn of a rifle being sold by a gun dealer to an Arab father purchasing the rifle for his sons in order to keep the jackals away from their herds. Keep in mind that the young boys are no older than 12 and they are being given a very powerful rifle by their father. Next, the movie turns over to a Mexican nanny who receives an alarming phone call from the father. The father on the two children in the nannies care tells her that the
