Objective: In this lab, the magnitude and direction of the electric field for two different conductor setups, two concentric circle, a linear conductor, and a point charge will be measured as well as mapping the associated equipotential lines. Procedure: Part 1: 2 Concentric Circles 1. Connect the power supple to the two electrodes in the coaxial cylinders geometry with the positive charge in the middle electrode and the negative charge on the outside ring and set to 10V according to the DVM 2. Attach a single lead probe to the positive post of the DMV and use it to determine 5 equipotential lines between the two electrodes. 3.
