Jessie Wen 1 Michael Thomas R/W 106 July 28 2009 The Gifted Students should be Grouped Together Gifted students are different from the average students in their talents. Because of the extremely generous of talents in their early age, the gifted students need special studying surrounding. Therefore the gifted students should be grouped together to fully extend their talents and abilities. I disagree with Bruno Bettelheim ‘s opinions of putting the gifted students in heterogeneously class. He asserts that taking off the gifted students out of the average students will cause the serious problems of the gifted students and also the society; the gifted students also limit their abilities to show their critical judgements in grouped class and grouping talented children can not lessen the anxiety among the slower learners in regular classroom. According to Bruno Bettelheim ‘s opinion, he believes to separate the gifted students and average students is a serious problem to the society and also to the gifted students
