Ecosystem Ecology By the end of this section you should be able to: 10) Predict the trophic level and energy source(s) of an organism, as well as the relative biomass of groups of organisms and the potential biotic interactions amongst organisms in a given ecosystem when provided with information about that ecosystem (for example, a food web). 11) Predict the impact on ecosystems of changes to any or all of the global carbon, nitrogen, and water cycles 12) Evaluate ways to reduce the ecological footprint of a given individual (make the necessary calculations to determine the effects of modifying each of the factors that contribute to the ecological footprint of that individual, then evaluate which of these modifications will have the
