Biology 2290G Winter/2010 Zabulionis Unit Rotation 3: HYPOTHESIS, PROTOCOL, DATA, CONCLUSION, and DISCUSSION (2%): Put the following information about your independent experiment directly into your lab book. Don’t forget, this is just rough work, your first time dealing with these data etc. – it does not have to look pretty but should be in chronological order (i.e. in this rotation, your lab book is a journal of what you did in the lab as it was being done; do not leave a space so you can come back later and put in a conclusion or a data table). Also, can someone pick up your lab book and do your independent experiment with the information in your book??? Put down as much information as possible – you may not use everything in the formal report (Gray Unit); you can decide when writing what is important to your story.
