Application of Circular Addressing Mode: Circular Addressing Mode is very handy in FIR filter implementation. Recall that in that case, the following steps are followed: Perform the dot product between the filter array and the input array Right Shift the input array elements. Store the newest sample in first location of the input array. Using circular shift makes it unnecessary to shift the input array. Indeed, the pointer always point to the oldest input sample that will be replaced by the newest input sample. Example
