Energy Resource Plan I. Introduction Conserving energy is important because with our growing nation, we need to conserve for the generations that are to come. If we do not conserve now, there will be nothing for our children and grandchildren to inherit. II. Renewable vs. Non-renewable What are renewable and non-renewable resources you ask? Renewable resources are things like the sun, wind, and water that we take for granted everyday. Non- renewable resources are things like natural gas, oil and coal which we use more than our fair share of. Renewable resources could power our homes and we would be helping our world instead of emitting pollution into the air. III. Methods to conserve energy and help the environment Each member could try to do something that will conserve energy and help the environment. One way to conserve energy and help the environment is to do all of your errands at once instead of one or two at a time. Another way would be to turn down your heater in the winter to about 68 degrees and your air conditioners to about 72 degrees in
