Getting started learning guitar can be frustrating - real frustrating. However, because of its flexibility, portability, and the reality that it can be used to play just about all kinds of music, the guitar is one of the most well liked instruments to learn how to play. The guitar is more beginner friendly than many other instruments. No matter what the interment you still need to master a few basics, even with the guitar. It might take you years to learn the basics and know it well and you might need proper lessons at some point to take advantage of the full potential the instrument has to offer. If you have a lot of trouble forming chord shapes with your fingers then it would be well advised to begin by learning songs that only use single notes or power chords.
