When a young boy falls ill, his grandfather drops by for a visit. To cheer up his grandson, Grandpa begins to read story. The story is one that has been handed along from father to son for generations. As the grandfather begins the tale, the exploit comes to life. The beautiful princess Buttercup has been kidnapped and is being held against her will to be forced to marry the loathsome Prince Humperdinck. Westley, her childhood love has come back as the Dread Pirate Roberts in a campaign to save his Buttercup. When the beautiful Buttercup is kidnapped by a terrible group of goons in an effort to spark up an international incident that would benefit the scheming Prince Humperdinck, the Dread Pirate Roberts begins to follow to claim his place as Westley, Princes Buttercup’s one true love.
