Unformatted text preview: Chapter 29 Brian Nelson Period 5-6 Two Visions for I ndia-One view suggests that India will go the path and become a more advanced nation and become less primitive. The other suggests India will never change and stay the same for the rest of existence.-I believe toleration towards people that are religiously intolerant is the best way to go. If you are tolerant with them, and show them that everyone has a different aspect on life and the ways of the afterlife, and t ry to make them see things with an open mind, maybe they will become tolerant. If this does not work though, and they continue to do bad things because of intolerance, force would be the way to go. A Critique for Western Feminism-He believes that woman now have to much power in the household and that men should assume there rightful place as in every other country.- Woman are treated primitively as if from a long time ago, there is no new age thinking to woman in India, as compared to America....
