    Capacity and Minors minor  is defined as one who has not  attained legal majority. Contracts, either executed or executory,  are voidable at only the minor’s option.

    Minors—Liability on Contracts Disaffirmance  A minor may disaffirm a  contract anytime before reaching  majority and reasonable time after  majority. Ratification  If a minor ratifies contract  after reaching majority, it is valid from  the beginning.

    Minors—Liability on Contracts Sale of land cannot be disaffirmed until  minor reaches majority.  minor may disaffirm for one year after  reaching majority, reasonable time  depends on the circumstances .  Disaffirmance can be expressed or  implied.
