Arghaya Dalapati 1102 Section F Professor Kathryn Farley October 29, 2009 The Thrasher’s Game When we were first told of the events for the second critique Ariel and I decided immediately that we would choose the Thrashers game. We were extremely curious at how a hockey game is played and what was going to go into it. So we signed up for it as soon as possible. I made the mistake of never checking when the actual date for the game. One day before the event, Ariel skyped me at around 1 o’clock going “ready for tomorrow.” I jumped up in fear, remembering that I had the game the next day (or that day depending on how you look at it). Usually it would have not been a problem, but I have lab from 7 – 10 every Thursday night. Thus I quickly wrote an email to my Lab TA and my friends Lab TA asking for permission to switch Lab’s for a day. Both TA’s reluctantly accepted my question, but I was able to make the game. At 6 o’clock on Thursday we decided to start on our adventure to the Philips Arena. But as usual, I
