[email protected] This course teaches applications of physics principles to understand electricity and magnetism. Textbook: • Young and Freedman, 12th edition, Chapters 21-33. Weekly Recitations: • Start next week, meet every week except last week of class. TA will give quizzes that count towards the course grade (90 points). Midterm exams: • Three exams, each worth 300 points. Homework, worth 100 points: • Mastering Physics, due by 11:59 pm one week after each lecture. Final exam: • Covers all material, worth 600 points, Thursday, May 6th, 7:30-9:20 am. CPS Clickers staring next lecture, 50 points total. 2
