Antivirus Policy Overview The Scott Hall / Scott Village Workstations are connected to a network that utilizes Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition, Norton Corporate Version 10. This product has already been procured for the Resident Tracking System Server. Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition will provide real-time virus and spyware protection for the Scott Hall / Scott Village Network Server and Workstations. Purpose The purpose of this Antivirus Policy is to establish requirements which must be met by all Resident Tracking System computers connected to the Scott Hall / Scott Village network. Adherence to this policy will ensure effective virus detection and prevention. Scope This policy applies to all Scott Hall / Scott Village computers that use the Resident Tracking System application. This includes, but is not limited to, desktop and laptop computers. Server New Viruses are discovered on a daily basis. For any Antivirus software to be effective it must be aware of the latest viruses. The virus software will be
