Statement of Project Scope General Project Information: Project Name: Scott Hall and Scott Village Resident Tracking System Project Sponsor: David Daro, Scott Hall Resident Director Project Manager: Dr. Leah Pietron Problem Statement: The client, Mr. David Daro, is the Resident Director of Scott Hall and Scott Village student residences at the University of Nebraska Omaha. The client currently utilizes several Microsoft Excel 2003 spreadsheets to track resident status including billing, security deposits, waiting lists, lease applications, and forwarding addresses. One workbook contains all the data in 13 worksheets. These worksheets are highly redundant and frequently cause loss of data due to user error and confusion. Project Objectives: The objectives of this project are the following: Use Microsoft Access 2003 to store and track resident status such as: waiting lists, lease applications, billing, security deposits, and forwarding addresses.
