3. Graph Questions to answer for next week: 1. Do your data points follow a similar curve? Our data points somewhat follow a similar curve because it is going up and down in the same directions. Some points may not follow the graph, but we can see that there is a relation in the way it is decreasing. The result of our graph is slightly higher than the original graph because our light source was not to scale. 2. What factors in this experiment might be affecting our results and not giving us a perfect curve? (Hint: is the light bulb a point source?) Factors that might be affecting our result is the bulb of the light shining to the light measurement instrument and our distance that we are standing can also be a factor. Also, the light in the room can also affect our curve because of the light sources coming from other groups when we are all doing the experiment at the same time.
