We are 21% of vertebrate biomass. Including domestic vertebrates we are responsible for 72% of vertebrate biomass. We and our food are 97% of land vertebrates!

Cattle 1.5 Billion Cattle world wide. - They outweigh us! 1 million wildebeests (largest biomass of wild vertebrates) UN Food and Agriculture Organization found that “Cattle farming produces 18% of greenhouse gases” Why hasn’t world ecosystem collapsed already? Insects thankfully outweigh all the vertebrates. One acre of British pasture land held over 1,000,000,000 Arthropods of which nearly 400,000,000 were Insects and 666,000,000 were Mites the remaining 38,000,000 were Myriapods (Centipedes and Millipedes). 20% of animal biomass is in social insects alone (ants, termites, etc…) But it will be a very sad world if its just plants and insects…
