Course website: http://www.philosophy.ucsb.edu/websites/phil3/ There is also a tutorial website accompanying the textbook: www.poweroflogic.com Course Requirements and Grading: There will be two midterm exams, a final exam, and weekly homework assignments. Your final grade will be calculated as follows: 1st midterm: 20% of the final grade 2 nd midterm: 30% Final Exam: 40% Homework: 10% In order to pass the class you must take all three exams. The point of the homework is to help you develop the reasoning skills which this class aims to impart, and which are necessary for doing well on the exams. As such, it will be graded on completeness only. Late homework will be accepted only in exceptional
