Electoral Systems Who we elect depends on how we elect - can be seen as a spotlight that searches and illuminates what is right, shapes  democracy - you can elect one political, several politicians, women, political parties, blocks  etc –  - what mechanisms do we use to make such a choice composition of our legislature shape of government party system Plurality – not majority but the number of votes exceeding the nearest rival - when voters vote for parties they are voting for clusters of individuals rather  than one individual Plurality vs. Majority How Do We Make Choices?
