I think that air pollution is a significant problem where I live. I know a major cause is the vehicles alone. On top of all that you have the people around here burning constantly. People will burn their trash, and brush piles. Most people will burn their plastic containers, paper just about anything instead of trying to recycle it. They also burn sugar cane where I live. Even though they only burn it for a few months out of the year, they often don’t realize just how much smoke it puts off. That is also taking into consideration all the ash that floats around from it. The waste from the burning sugar cane lands in the canals, rivers, and also on everyone’s stuff. The ash contaminates the water that is the habitat to fish, gators, and many other animals or reptiles. There is also many of the sugar cane fields located very close to people’s homes. It also means that it can cause breathing problems for those that have asthma, allergies, or even those that don’t have any breathing problems. I would have to say that all of this is cause by humans in one form or another. Humans are the ones that burn the sugar cane so there for I think that would make them responsible for the contamination of the water. Although I am not sure that they could do anything else with the sugar cane I do know that maybe they should space out the process a little more instead of doing it all at one time they could just do sections of it at a time. I also know that it is not good for the wildlife that lives in the water or elsewhere for that matter....
