Midterm Study Guide ENVS 25 – Winter 2010 Lecture Slides Review all lecture slides on WebCT. Make sure you understand the broad concepts and how key terms and examples illustrate these concepts. Think of your own examples from environmental problems you care about and review how concepts and terms apply to your examples. Quizzes Review all quizzes, these questions, or similar ones to them, may appear on the midterm, and the format of questions will be similar as well. Readings Review all readings assigned to date. Pay special attention to bolded terms in Goodstein. Pay less attention to topics not covered in class, but do not ignore them. Ignore all appendices in Goodstein. Work to have a clear and deep understand of the main concepts. Look to understand key themes and arguments in Hertzgaard and other readings. Key Terms and Concepts Work on understanding the meaning of each of the terms or concepts below, as well as how they are related to each other and to the main themes of the course. These key terms are from lectures 1-6. Key terms from lectures 7-9 are not included below. They will be added later.
