Then my next step will be to hopefully attend the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida, for an additional four more years. Getting into pharmacy school is not an easy task, especially at the University of Florida. One of the adviser’s for the UF College of Pharmacy said that the college usually only accepts about 300 out of 3,000 applicants every year. That means it is an extremely competitive program, which requires you to come in with a good GPA and high PCAT scores. The PCAT, Pharmacy College Admission Test, is required in order to apply for pharmacy school. At the University of Florida, a competitive PCAT score is in the range of the 80 th percentile. In addition to the PCAT, you are also required to have a copy of your official transcript, two letters of recommendation, as well as a personal profile/essay.
