Another day another dollar Wednesday Henry Ford has been referred to as the Godfather of automobiles, all though he didn’t invent it; he developed the idea of an assembly line. Ford opened the Rouge Plant employing fifty thousand workers making it the largest factory in American history. Not only did he provide jobs for the men and woman that worked for him in his factories but also he created jobs paving America for his cars to drive on. Henry Ford was the son of a farmer, and he took nothing for granted he found work for himself until he was able to create his empire. When Ford started his business he was one of many small auto business but he had a vision for something far greater than a small automaker. He believed that cars were not just something for the rich but rather something for the common worker to be able to afford. Ford had come up with a way to increase efficiency and decrease the cost of production for his model T. And in 1916 the price of one of Fords model T was only $316, far less than the $700 price tag in 1910. Ford had seen an opportunity to make money; by
