Unformatted text preview: I understand if we do not there will be many deaths in our country. On the other hand, if we use DDT, it will contaminate the water we drink, the soil we use for agriculture, and the animals we eat for food. In the long run, such contamination will kill, I believe more people and will lead to many more diseases in our country. I feel it will be for the best of our country, our children, and our children’s children to keep DDT away from us. Nevertheless, this will be a very difficult year. Be extra careful this year from all mosquitoes that are around us. This year will be a live experiment of Survival of the Fittest . Each and every one of you are strong, and I believe we will be able to get through this as long as we try our hardest to watch our surroundings and keep our households free from mosquitoes....
