Unformatted text preview: Final Examination Information ARE 106 March 6, 2010 A. Havenner Ricky will hold an optional review session from 12:10 to 1:00 on Monday March 15, 2010 in Wellman 6 (the usual classroom). The final examination will be given from 8:00 to 10:00 AM (ouch!) on Tuesday March 16, 2010, in the usual classroom. It will be closed book. Bring paper or bluebook. A calculator will help. The final examination is comprehensive: all of my notes as posted on the class website will be covered with the exception of pages 78a and 78b regarding LM tests, pages 83 and 84 which were skipped due to the fire drill, pages 87-91 inclusive, and page 95 down to "Notes" where coverage begins again. (Pages 87-91 and 95 deal with higher order AR models. They are provided for your convenience should you need them later.) In addition, you will not be tested on the material on the bottom half of notes page 101 describing White’s HCCM, and you will not be tested on the additive heteroskedasticity on page 105-- again provided solely for your convenience.
