Why is there Braille on the keypads of drive-through ATM machines? 2. Why do brown eggs sell for more than white eggs even when both are equal in size and have the exact same nutritional value? 3. Why are tigers, which are useless as a practical matter, nearly extinct but cows plentiful? Background: At first glance these puzzles above seem to defy common sense. However, what seems to defy “common sense and rational thought” may be explained by the correct understanding of economic principles Your Assignment: Find an original puzzle that you have directly encountered in your life and that you believe can be explained by one of the basic economic principles listed below. The more your puzzle seems to defy common sense, the better your paper will be. Keep in mind: This is EXTRA credit, so I can give you a zero for the assignment.
