If you do choose to work with other students, please hand in a list of all group members with your solutions. Problem 1. Section 13.5. Find parametric equations for each of the lines described below. (a) The line which contains the point ( ± 1 ; 5 ; ± 4) and which is parallel to v = h 3 ; 0 ; 2 i (b) The line which contains the points (1 ; ± 3 ; ± 5) and (4 ; ± 2 ; 4) (c) The line which contains the point (4 ; ± 3 ; ± 1) and which is perpendicular to the plane x + 3 z = 4 + y . (d) The line of intersection for the planes x + 2 y ± z = 2 and 3 x + 2 y + 2 z = 7.
