Unformatted text preview: Compensation (Pay) Schedule- Pay Rate Per Hour All paychecks will be distributed on a bi-weekly basis (every other Friday) by your supervisor. For non-exempt employees, your paycheck will reflect those hours worked through the previous Saturday. Exempt employees will be paid for hours worked through the actual payday. Should a holiday fall on a Friday, payday will be the previous business day. No paychecks will be released early. If you have questions regarding your paycheck, please contact your supervisor first for clarification. Your supervisor will then contact the payroll department if a question remains unanswered. The pay rate per hour for employees is $9.00/hour. There is room for improvement, if productivity, knowledge, and skills improve. Cost Regular time $9.00 @ 2000= $17,000 Overtime $13.50 @ 333= $4495.50 Total Wages = $21,495.50 Length of Contract All employment relationships at the company are at-will which means your employment with the company is voluntary and you are free to resign at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Similarly, we are free to conclude the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice, with or without cause. This is called employment at-will. The length of contract is going to be three years from signed date, at this time we can apply a performance review. Immigration Law Compliance In accordance with Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), all persons hired after November 6, 1986 are required to complete form 1-9 and present documentation that establishes your identity and employment authorization. All employment offers are contingent on verification of your right to work in the United States. Prior to your first day of work, we will ask you to provide original documents verifying your right to work and to sign a verification form as required by federal law. If you are not able to provide such documentation, it could result in your termination at the Winery. We also reserve the right to require background investigation and/or post-offer physical examinations, conducted according to state and federal law. Employment of Relatives An employee may not directly or indirectly supervise, evaluate, oversee, authorize payroll actions for, or work in the same department as, his/her spouse or other employees to whom the employee is related or with whom the employee resides. Job Openings Whenever a job vacancy or a new job is created the Company shall post a standard notice on the bulletin board in each department for at least five (5) consecutive bottling days, soliciting the names of employees who wish to apply to fill such vacancy. A copy of the said notice shall be given to the Shop Stewards. Employees, prior to going on approved vacation, will indicate in writing on their vacation request form his/her desire to be considered for particular postings while they are on vacation.
