Think of some of your favorite foods when you were 10 years old. Are they still your favorites? Do you think you will be eating the same foods you eat today 20 years from now? What are some of the reasons dietary modifications may be needed in different life stages? Give three examples to support your answer. Oh I had so many foods that I loved to eat when I was younger. I am quite like just about anyone else in the class it was basically a lot of junk food. Except my all time favorite food was a B.L.T. on toast. I still love B.L.T. sandwiches but I hardly eat junk foods. I think the closest I get to junk food anymore happens to be a granola bar. I do not think 20 years from now I will be eating the same thing. I have a lot of health issues as is and I feel as when I start to become older I will have to again change my eating habits.

Unformatted text preview: Peoples bodies change as they age so the foods they consume should as well. There are so many health conditions that need to be taken into consideration when deciding what to consume. Diabetes and Obesity are a few, while there are plenty more these are just the few that come to mind. People tend to become obese because of the eating habits they started while young. There are many situations when people need to change their eating habits as they get older but they are so used to eating that way so they do not want to change. There are situations when people want to change their eating habits but they cant so they tend to continue with the trend. Eating unhealthy can and normally does cause diabetes. Most of my family have diabetes, so I am keeping a close eye on this one....
