Some characteristics that make these two essays an expository essay are they both informed about the topic with a thesis as it is base, they used examples, and facts to explain the concepts of the essay. The first expository essay I read was A Soul as free as the Air . The type of organization this author used to develop the essay was informative process because the author gave some information about Lucy Stone, like who is Lucy stone. The second expository essay I read was Cochlear implants . The type of organization this author used to develop the essay was topic and time order at the same time because the author starts the essay by the title of his or her essay, and then the author starts to explain about the cochlear implants.
