However many of the techniques of image interpretation are the same. The course emphasises understanding of the principles of image data acquisition, and data quality, as well as the learning of skills and techniques of image interpretation and analysis. Course materials and assignments will be chosen to demonstrate the real world applications of remote sensing to earth resource surveying and environmental monitoring, and the increasingly close relationship between remote sensing and GIS. Practical classes will usually follow lectures on theoretical aspects of the topic.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
