Course Description The Radio & Television Broadcasting course is designed to instruct students in the fields of radio/television design and production with an emphasis on computer technology and multimedia computer applications. This course along with Introduction to Radio Broadcasting equals 1 credit. Students completing Intro RTB with a C or better will be given credit for a computer science class towards graduation. Students will also be expected to utilize language arts skills to meet the speaking and writing requirements that are an inherent component of this course. Instructional Philosophy Students will be expected to meet all of the course goals listed below and to demonstrate their understanding of the underlying concepts. The instruction will mainly be application-based with a minimum of lecture. The course requires student research and the completion of several projects in addition to daily work assignments. Students will work in teams to complete many of the listed projects. Assignments will require students to draw upon academic skills in
