Question 3 If an application is rejected by council there are two different avenues that can be taken: Lodge matter with Land and Environmental Court of NSW Re-design the Development Application (DA) Lodge matter with Land and Environmental Court of NSW The court will hear the case and has the power to either knock over the conclusion made by the council and grant an approval or support the decision made by the council. Applicants must attend the court with the following requirements: 3 copies (original + 2 photocopies) of a completed Application 1,2,3 form 3 copies (photocopies) of the development application submitted to the council 3 copies of plans submitted to council with the development application A filing fee Re-design the Development Application (DA) If Development Approval was refused due to minor problems, this method is the best way to take as this less trouble and less time consuming for applicants comparing to appeal to court.

Question 4: This development control plan (DCP) has been organized in accordance with the requirements of the assessment regulation 1994 and the environmental planning and environmental planning and assessment Act 1979. The DCP applies to all land within the City of Randwick that is zoned Residential 2B and 2C.
