China One Child Policy 2 Outline: o Thesis statement: China’s One Child policy leaded to an enormous economic growth as well as improvements in both health care and educational services, through curbing its population growth. A. China’s One Child policy reduced population growth rates. I. Married couples are enforced to have no more than one child. Pros: Family’s expenditure decreases and so their income increases. Cons: This leads to gender imbalance. B. Reduction in population rate had many positive effects. I. Impact on health care Pros: Provide better health care for women. Pros: Provide free contraception and pre-natal classes.
