GROUP TYPOLOGY ASSIGNMENT 2IntroductionGroup typology refers to an area of interests that stimulates the interests of a social worker. Some cases of clients require to be treated in a group so that they can recover quickly. Having clear understanding of the group typology is helpful for the social workers because it enables them to choose individuals who can benefit from the program. The case indicates Paula is suffering HIV, and also Hepatitis C, which makes it critical for her to be put under a treatment group so that she can recover from the situation she is currently (Plummer, Makris & Brocksen, 2014). As a matter of fact, Paula has stopped taking medication which has led to serious consequences over her health. It is also important to note that Paula is not in good terms with the father of her child, and from the case she notes abuse and harassment from him, which has had consequences to her health wellbeing.
