To observe a chemical reaction and record the evidence of any chemical changes  observed. This allows for a first hand observation of chemical and physical changes  between different agents and thereby giving better understand the individual agents and  their cumulative product when they are combined. There are a number of things that tell  us when a chemical reaction has occurred. In many of the experiments the substance  may experience a change of state or phase. This provides a better understanding of  chemistry and how it plays a part in our everyday life as displayed by the food and  chemical products tested.
