I have practiced law for the past seven years and recently have been elected into the House of Representatives. I oppose the legislation passed by Jefferson to close trade with France and Great Britain. As a result, I wrote an anonymous pamphlet attacking the Embargo Act. I also oppose the War of 1812. Professional Experience: 1802-1803 – Served as the headmaster of Fryeburg Academy in Maine 1805 -1812 – Practiced law Major Accomplishments: 1801 – Graduates from Dartmouth College 1812 – Elected to the House of Representatives References: Thomas W.
