Criteria 1: The employee must be compensated on a salary basis (as defined in the regulations) at a rate not less than $455 per week. The rate of the job is $45,070 per year. If this rate is broken down into 52-weeks, the rate per week would equal $866.73. The rate per week would satisfy the first criteria. Criteria 2: The employee’s primary duty must be the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations of the employer or the employer’s customers. The primary job of the Inventory Control Officer is to recording the annual physical inventory for the general business operations. The job description does not imply there would be need any physical lifting of the inventory, just keeping an accurate account of
