Mobile Code (MC) MC is a technology that allows programs to move from one node to another MC is a disruptive technology that allows the software configuration on a node to change dynamically MC packages can be downloaded and executed as needed These packages can be kept in a repository which is either centralized or distributed using a service broker MC packages are usually designed to work on multiple hardware platforms and for various operating systems Any language that can link to an application programming interface (API) can make MC calls
