And those events can bring people together. Some people who know mostly everyone in a social network--- they “spread ideas and information” and they “connect varied and isolated parts” in a society. So someone has to act as a “connector” in a social network and this type of person exists in every social network; in this article, Lois serves as a “connector” in the social network A connector doesn’t have to be extrovert or charismatic A social network is structured like a pyramid where people are always interconnected in some way. My reaction: I find this article particularly interesting. I never thought about my social/friend circle. However, after reading this article, I agree with most of what the author says. I, too, believe that within a social network, there is at least one person that serves as a connector that links
