Week 1 DQ 1 Environment sustainability refers to the environments ability to maintain itself without becoming endangered by the various threats that humans pose. One behavior that I have that can threaten the environment is using too many plastic products. Bottled water and plastic bags are two of the main things that I use on a day to day basis. Both of these are threatening to the environment. In order to change this behavior I could opt for paper or reusable bags, and I could get a water purifier and refill my water bottle instead of buying endless packs of bottled water. Another threatening behavior would be using my car for short distances. Cars have a highly negative effect on the environment. I could change this behavior by walking more often, and only using my car when absolutely necessary. One more threatening behavior is using too much water when performing daily tasks. I usually don't turn of the water when brushing my teeth, and I run the water the entire time I am doing dishes etc. I have been trying to break this habit, and it seems to be
