Therefore the voltage across the 2 megohm resistor will be 2 X 10 6 X 70/(14 X 10 6 ) mV = 10 mV d) The charge on a 2 microfarad capacitor with a voltage of 80 mV across its terminals. Charge = 2 X 10 -6 X 80 X 10 -3 coulombs = 1.6 X 10 -7 coulombs 2) (20 points) Please describe an experiment that shows that the capacitative properties of the membrane of a neuron are due to the lipids in the membrane?
